Jason Aldean’s Wife, Brittany, Says Being a Stepmom Is ‘Tough,’ But Worthwhile
Jason Aldean's wife, Brittany, serves as stepmom to his two older daughters, and she turned to social media to talk about the difficulties and rewards of being a "bonus mom" to his older girls.
As People reports, Brittany Aldean turned to her Instagram Story recently to let fans ask questions for her to answer. When one user wrote, "Advice for a bonus mom," Brittany did not hold back, answering with her trademark mix of hard-nosed truth and bright optimism.
"Whewwww! Buckle that seat belt, girl!” she advised, adding, “It’s tough but you have the opportunity to REALLY impact their lives. ROCK IT and be a strong foundation for them!”

Brittany married Aldean on March 21, 2015. She gave birth to their first child, Memphis, on Dec. 1, 2017. The couple welcomed their second child together, daughter Navy Rome Aldean, on Feb. 4, 2019. Both Jason and Brittany Aldean frequently share fun pictures of their entire family unit spending quality time with Aldean's older girls, Kendyl, 11, and Keeley, 16, and another fan wrote in to ask if all four kids lived with Jason and Brittany.
“Our two obvs do,” she answered, adding a smiley face emoji. “But we get the girls every other week and a lot during summers.”
Brittany has recently shared some photos of the massive dream home that she and Aldean are currently building in a rural area outside of Nashville, where she is looking forward to raising her family.
"And so our new journey begins," she wrote in announcing their plans. "Looking at the land it’s hard not to envision a place where our babies will run, laugh and play with each other for so many years to come... I can hardly wait to hear those little feet running down the halls."
