Rising country music star Jordan Davis welcomed a baby girl, named Eloise Larkin, with his wife Kristen on Nov. 17.

The "Cool Anymore" singer announced the arrival of his daughter in an Instagram post on his account, accompanied by a cute family photo.

"Excited to announce that me and Kristen have welcomed a beautiful baby girl...Momma and baby are both doing great, and I wanna thank everyone for the well wishes and love. God is good!" he says.

Entertainment Tonight confirms that Eloise was born in Nashville, Tennessee and weighed 8 lbs. at birth.

Davis spoke with ET at the CMA Awards on Nov. 13, where the "Slow Dance in a Parking Lot" singer revealed his nerves about becoming a father.

"There’s a little bit of nerves," he admitted. "I mean I feel like we’re ready as can be to be parents, I’m just ready to meet the guy or girl."

Davis also revealed that Eloise's name is not related to music — it is more of a "family thing."

The country singer released his latest song "Cool Anymore" on Nov. 8, in which he collaborates with singer-songwriter Julia Michaels.

"We spend a lot of time playing shows, and it’s easy to get caught up in it, but this song is just a reminder to leave work at work," he says of the song. "It’s a job. Enjoy it, go out to do the music thing, but then come back and be a husband and a friend."

Davis' collaborator Michaels also spoke on the song, saying, "It’s just a fun, chill vibe that has a nice little groove to it and makes you smile and feel good. We’re lucky to be able to go home and let loose with the ones we love."

The country singer can now add father to his of accomplishments.
