It's been three years since Julianne Hough introduced herself to the country music world with her self-titled debut album, which charted at No. 1 on the Billboard country album chart back in 2008. The 'Dancing With the Stars' winner is more than ready to bring another country album into the fold, and has been for awhile -- Hough says her follow-up record is long done.

"It’s done," Hough says of the record. While the multi-platform star has been understandably busy promoting her new box office flick 'Footloose' as of late, she hasn't forgotten about her dedicated fan base. As this point, she says she just wants her fans to have some new music. "It’s been a while since it’s been done, and so I’m like, ‘Well, I kind of want to rewrite some new things.’ I would rather just release it online and just let fans hear the music that I already have, that I can’t publish -- but my label would get really mad."

Hough didn't specify exactly what the hold up is on her album, but we think it's safe to assume that her label is the one keeping it under wraps, perhaps to try and rebuild steam following the singer's cell phone hack back in August, which resulted in some leaked new tracks.

Whenever the 'That Song in My Head' hitmaker is able to get her new tunes on the shelves, we're sure she'll have no trouble selling them. 'Julianne Hough,' her first album, sold 67,000 copies in its first week alone.
