Kacey Musgraves has quite the milestone to celebrate this week: Her third full-length album, Golden Hour, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart (dated April 14). According to Nielsen Music, the set moved 49,000 equivalent album units in its first week ending April 5, with 39,000 from traditional album sales.

The album also topped the Americana/Folk album chart, and made an impressive entry at No. 4 on the all-genre Billboard 200.

This is a hat trick for Musgraves, as it’s her third time to top the Country Albums chart. Both her 2013 debut, Same Trailer Different Park, and 2015 follow-up Pageant Material entered at No. 1 on that particular chart.

Musgraves told fans ahead of the album’s release that they could expect a different vibe to the set. "I feel like I've gone through a lot since you last heard my music,” she said. “I love country and I would never want to totally ditch that but my new music incorporates a whole new sound in my own way.”

The singer is currently part of Little Big Town's Breakers Tour through April before setting out with Harry Styles on his 2018 Live on Tour. She’s also scheduled to start her own international Oh What a World tour on Oct. 21.
