Kane Brown’s Self-Titled Album Being Pressed for Vinyl Release
Kane Brown self-titled debut album is getting a makeover. A vinyl edition 2016's Kane Brown will be released on June 30 with updated cover art.
Brown's first-ever full-length project originally hit shelves in December 2016, and has earned him a great deal of recognition since. Not only did it claim the top spot on Billboard‘s Top Country Albums chart in addition to hitting the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart, it also made him the first new artist since Sam Hunt to have the biggest-selling debut in country music.
The 23-year-old singer co-wrote more than half of the songs on the Kane Brown album, including its three singles "Ain't No Stopping Us Now," "Thunder in the Rain" and "What Ifs" featuring Lauren Alaina. "What Ifs" is currently in the Top 20 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart and is poised to break the Top 30 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.
“He was really shy and he wouldn’t sing in chorus class, and I said, ‘Come on, Kane, I think you could be a good singer,’ and then he started singing, and now look at him,” Alaina tells Taste of Country of Brown (he acknowledges that she was one who believed in his talents early on). Brown surprised fans during his set at 2017 CMA Music Festival when he brought Alaina onstage to sing the track.
Brown recently offered fans a taste of a new song he's working on titled “What’s Mine Is Yours,” which may be featured on his sophomore release, which is TBA.
