Kane Brown Brings a Piece of ‘Heaven’ to ‘Good Morning America’ [Watch]
Kane Brown treated the audience on Good Morning America to a little bit of country music on Wednesday (Dec. 6) with his new single, "Heaven."
Brown's voice sounded smooth on the pop-country track that's almost like a love letter to the woman in his life.
"Everybody's talking about heaven like they just can't wait to go / Saying how it's gonna be so good, so beautiful / Lying next to you, in this bed with you, I ain't convinced / 'Cause, I don't know how, I don't know how heaven, heaven / Could be better than this," the singer croons, dazzling the audience with the romantic lyrics as they sway along to the laid-back beat. Brown nailed his performance as part of the morning show's Fall Concert Series, with the stage decked out in a beautiful Christmas display of festive lights and holiday trees.

"Heaven" is the eighth single from Brown, who included the track on the deluxe edition of his self-titled debut album. Brown came across the song during a writers retreat when he heard the track penned by Shy Carter, Matthew McGinn and Lindsay Rimes coming through the floorboards while he was working upstairs.
"So my buddy Shy Carter started singing it to me, and his voice is amazing, but also the song just really hit me and made me feel close to it," he tells Taste of Country. "It really made me think about my fiancee, so I was like, 'There's got to be other people that can relate to this song.'"
Brown recently celebrated his first No. 1 single, "What Ifs," with Lauren Alaina.
