When Kane Brown married Katelyn Jae on Oct. 12, she was wearing the wedding dress of her dreams.

In a post-wedding interview with People, reveals that the couple was going for an "enchanted forest" theme on their big day, and she needed the perfect dress for the occasion. She landed on a stunning, fitted ensemble with intricate detailing, an open bac and a sweetheart neckline.

"The dress is simple, comfortable and understated — but with a kick," Jae tells People. "I went to a few bridal shops and this was probably the fourth dress I tried. I just loved everything about it."

Jae adds that she wanted something "sleek and simple" for the big day, and she found it with the gown pictured above. "I didn’t want a ton of extra fabric; I wanted something sleek and simple and this fit the bill," she adds.

A long train was perfect and beautiful for photos, and she adorned the "simple" look by accessorizing with diamond earrings and crystal-embellished Steve Madden block heel sandals.

Country hitmaker Brown suited up for the occasion in a midnight-blue Lanvin suit with bowtie. He was styled by by David Thomas. The couple wed at Mint Springs Farm in Franklin, Tenn., which is just outside of Nashville. True to the enchanted forest theme, the couple's wedding colors were autumnal with green and fall tones.

"We wanted something here in Nashville and loved the idea of having it at home and not traveling since we are on the road so much," the newlyweds explain of why they picked the wedding and reception venue. "It’s not too rural but has so many elements of nature — a huge lake, rolling hills, trees. It’s just beautiful out there."

Brown and Jae are enjoying a multi-week honeymoon before the singer's sophomore album comes out on Nov. 9. His work and personal life are already melding — a music video for a new song called "Good as You" is actual footage from his wedding day.
