Keith Urban Shares Family Photos Onstage for His 10th Wedding Anniversary

On Saturday (June 25), Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman were set to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary in Boston, Mass., during the singer's Ripcord Tour. As Urban explained to the crowd, unfortunately things didn't work out as the couple intended.

"Tonight is my wife's and my 10 year anniversary! So I'm gonna tell you a quick story about how this happened," he said before photos of the couple and their daughters appeared on a screen behind him. "So, we booked the tour at the beginning of the year and June 25 was going to happen in Boston. I said to Nic, 'I cannot work on our anniversary. Maybe we'll play Boston another time.' She said, 'What if I come up to Boston?'"

A great plan, the two had everything set in motion so Urban would do his show that night and the next day they would hang out in Boston. Kidman was scheduled to shoot a film in Australia in May, so everything was lining up and looking really good, Urban explained.

"Suddenly they said, 'Actually, we're gonna shoot the film in June in Australia,'" Urban said, to which the entire Boston crowd responded with booing.

All is not lost, though, as Urban said that after the gig in Boston he'd hop on a plane to fly to Australia to celebrate their anniversary.

"I wanted to give you guys a little bit of the journey of these last 10 years," he continued. "Firstly, it's not often that you get to get a photo with the person who's going to become your partner for the rest of your life on the very first day, matter of fact within minutes of meeting each other. This is a photo of the two of us. We met a few minutes before this picture was taken."

Urban then showed photos of the couple on their wedding day, as well as their two daughters.

"Nic and I got along real well and the next thing that happened was, we got married. That's my bride right there and that's the two of us. And next up, these guys come along, the most beautiful kids."

As Urban heads off to Australia to celebrate with his wife, his fans made the day extra special with their homemade signs for the couple.
