Keith Urban Set to Ring in 2019 at Nashville’s New Year’s Eve Live Celebration
Do you know what you'll be doing New Year's Eve? Keith Urban is way ahead of the game, as it's not even October yet and he's already made his plans for Dec. 31. The singer will be headlining Nashville’s New Year’s Eve live celebration for the third time in a row, ringing in 2019 at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park.
Jack Daniel’s Music City Midnight: New Year’s Eve in Nashville will feature Urban as well as a genre diverse lineup including Peter Frampton, Judah & the Lion, Caitlyn Smith, Devon Gilfillian and the Fisk Jubilee Singers. Sirius XM host Storme Warren and Today In Nashville personality Kelly Sutton will serve as emcees. The show will feature a "music note" drop and fireworks show, and is free and open to the public, with gates opening at 4 p.m. local time.
Urban continues to be busy all throughout the last few months of 2018, playing the remainder of his North American Graffiti U tour dates with Kelsea Ballerini, which runs through early November. He'll then take on a standout hosting gig at his native Australian ARIA Awards on Nov. 28. Following the holidays, he'll be back on the road again in January, playing a string of shows for his fans in Australia.
