Keith Urban’s Daughters Send Him Good Luck Before ACM Awards
The 2017 ACM Awards are set to air on Sunday (April 2), but Keith Urban already feels like a winner.
In an Instagram photo shared by the country superstar, daughters 8-year-old Sunday Rose and 6-year-old Faith Margaret offer a sweet message to their father ahead of the big awards show. The girls hold up a sign they wrote with a message for their dad that reads, "Good luck, Daddy," written in multi-colored lettering with several hearts drawn in between.
Urban clearly appreciated the thoughtful gesture, sharing the photo with his more than one million Instagram followers, saying, "When my daughters do this……I’ve ALREADY WON!!!!” The country star is the most nominated act at the 52nd annual awards show, scoring nods in such coveted categories like Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year for Ripcord, and Male Vocalist of the Year. He's also up for Song of the Year for "Blue Ain't Your Color."
The superstar will also take the stage with Carrie Underwood to perform their latest single "The Fighter." The song serves as the fifth single from his chart-topping album Ripcord.
Soon after the ACM Awards, Urban will head to Washington, D.C., to receive the Recording Artists’ Coalition Award during the 2017 Grammys on the Hill ceremony on April 5. The award is given to an individual who acts as a champion for the arts and creators' rights.
The ACM Awards air live from Las Vegas at 8PM ET on CBS.
