Keith Urban visited the set of 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' on Tuesday afternoon to spend some time with the host to discuss the current happenings in his career. Among the topics covered was Urban's new venture with his men's cologne, Phoenix, which he launched over the summer.

"I have this tattoo on my arm, which I've had for a long time, and everyone thinks it's a Phoenix, but technically it's a Thunderbird," Urban said on the show of how he came up with the appropriate name of his cologne. "I always liked the name Phoenix ... I like the mythology of the Phoenix, and I felt like it was the right name for this cologne. I didn't want something for middle American men to feel awkward saying. I thought Phoenix was a good, safe ground ... not too over the top."

Urban also shared with the show's viewers information for a special contest where fans can make their own 30-second commercial advertising the cologne where the winner will receive prizes, including having their creation aired on television.

DeGeneres then proceeded to reveal her commercial that she made with Urban earlier in the week, showing the singer holding the bottle of cologne with his shirt unbuttoned as wind blew through his hair. The comedian then appeared in a long, blond wig, caressing Urban's bare chest, licking the side of his face, cooling him off with ice and spraying him down with water.

"You know that you're the only woman on the planet that [my wife] would be okay with doing that," Urban said with a laugh after the commercial.

In addition to his talk time with DeGeneres, Urban also gave fans a sneak peak of his new single, 'You Gonna Fly,' which is set to impact country radio on Monday, October 17. Urban's performance of the infectious tune had the audience captivated as he delivered a solid vocal performance, which he completed with his electrifying guitar solos. The song has been a fan favorite since Urban released his 'Get Closer' album last summer.
