Two of country’s biggest rising stars treated listeners of the Bobby Bones radio show to a unique performance this week, when Kelsea Ballerini joined in on Cam’s “Burning House.” Ballerini provided soft harmonies to Cam’s melody on her chart-climbing hit, creating a beautiful duet that would leave fans wanting more.

The song is the second single from Cam’s debut EP, Welcome to Cam Country, and has already cracked the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot Country Charts, having reached No. 18 since its release earlier this summer. The singer-songwriter is a new addition to the Arista Nashville record label, home to stars like Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley.

Ballerini has been on the fast-track to star status lately, and not just because of her coveted slot in Taylor Swift’s posse. The singer-songwriter is quickly becoming a household name among country fans, particularly after reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay charts with her song “Love Me Like You Mean It,” marking the first time a solo female artist has held the top slot with a debut single in years.

The momentum has not died down for the pop-country artist, as the upbeat follow-up release “Dibs” was the most-added radio single for its release week July 20. She played her first headlining New York City show at the Gramercy Theater recently, and is joining Lady Antebellum on a few dates of their Wheels Up tour this year.
