Kenny Chesney once again teamed up with Grace Potter for a heartfelt rendition of 'You and  Tequila,' the song they took to No. 3 on the Billboard country chart, this time performing it at the 2011 CMA Awards. Chesney recorded the song with Potter for his 'Hemingway's Whiskey' album.

Although Potter is an Americana rock musician who fronts her own band, the Nocturnals, the Vermont-based artist slipped right into the country groove as she and Chesney sat side-by-side on stools strumming acoustic guitars and singing.

Chesney was dressed in his standard jeans, Henley shirt and white cowboy hat while Potter was more formally dressed in a short white dress, her long blond hair flowing past her shoulders.

As one of the most revered performers in country music, it likely isn't surprising that Chesney received a host of nominations for the 2011 CMA Awards, including for Male Vocalist of the Year (against Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban) and Song of the Year for 'You and Tequila,' written by Matraca Berg and Deanna Carter. He and Potter are also nominated for Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year for the song.
