It seems that the more Lauren Alaina grows as an artist, the sassier she gets. The 16-year-old country star, who was once just an 'American Idol' hopeful, waltzed onto the 'Ellen' stage on Friday swinging her hips and clapping her hands along to her new single, 'Georgia Peaches.'

Alaina showed no fear in front of the live audience and countless at-home viewers as she declared, "There's a reason why the boys pick Georgia peaches." A full band played out the song behind her, though if it weren't for the camera time they were given, you'd never notice them -- Alaina stole the show.

The 'Like My Mother Does' hitmaker, a Georgia peach herself, proved today that hard work pays off . Not only has she grown vocally since taking the runner-up slot on 'Idol,' but Alaina flaunted a toned body, sporting a pair of skin-tight leopard leggings and a fitted purple peasant shirt with a belt to match.

At the end of the song, the young star gave her hair a very spunky flip, which was the perfect way to wrap her charged new track. 'Georgia Peaches' appears on Alaina's debut album, 'Wildflower,' which dropped on October 11.
