Next week brings not only the debut video from Scotty McCreery, but the debut from 'American Idol' runner-up Lauren Alaina as well. The 16-year-old singer will unveil the clip for 'Like My Mother Does' on August 8 at 10:30AM ET on CMT. The 15-minute special will include behind-the-scenes footage from her video shoot.

GAC will also air the video on Monday at 6:24AM and many times throughout the day. The network's cameras have been following the singer to film 'Introducing: Lauren Alaina,' a television special scheduled to air this fall. “The video is all about my mom and it has footage from my childhood and pictures of me and my family while I was growing up,” Alaina says in a press release. “It’s all projected on this beautiful southern-style house. It’s really great. It shows my life, so people will know more about me after they see it."

Beginning today, fans can pre-order Alaina's album at her official website. It's there that fans can sign up to receive exclusive details about the release. “I cannot wait for my album to come out and I can’t wait for my fans to know when it’s coming,” she says. “The most asked question I get is, ‘When is the album coming out?’ I can’t wait to actually get out there and share with them who I am as an artist."

“My fans have made everything happen for me. They voted and stood behind me through this whole experience.” Alaina is currently on the American Idols Live Tour, which stops in Milwaukee, Wisc. tonight.
