Little Big Town Announce Pain Killer Tour, Release Album Cover
Little Big Town are going edgy for their new album! The country supergroup released the electric album cover for their sixth studio album, but they didn't stop there. They've also announced their 2014 Pain Killer Tour, kicking off in November.
After spending the last week peppering their Instagram account with sneak peeks of the album cover, the foursome released the full image with the announcement that their headlining tour will launch on Nov. 8 in Youngstown, Ohio. And they'll be joined by two special guests along the way.
The Pain Killer Tour will feature Brett Eldredge and Brothers Osborne as openers, stopping in 13 cities across the U.S. before wrapping up on Dec. 13 in Rockford, Illinois.
“We are so excited to share 'Pain Killer' and get on the road for this tour,” says singer Karen Fairchild. “Kimberly [Schlapman], Phillip [Sweet], Jimi [Westbrook] and I are thrilled to have such amazing openers in Brett and Brothers … we're big fans."
This time around, LBT are offering fans the chance to purchase exclusive VIP packages, which include meet-and-greets, pre-show soundcheck viewings, exclusive merchandise and more. It's a good thing, because fans will surely be chomping at the bit to hear as much of 'Pain Killer' as they can. The new record will be released on Oct. 21. and the band is just as excited to perform their new songs as fans are to hear them.
"The band is so stoked about this record that we've been playing new songs all summer," says Westbrook. "We can't wait to play the whole thing, along with our hits the fans know and love this November."
