Luke Bryan Claims No. 1 Position on Charts Once Again With ‘Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye’
When Luke Bryan hits No. 1 on the country singles chart, he's lately been locking into the position for multiple weeks. Well this week is no different for his newest single 'Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye.'
The singer topped the Mediabase / Country Aircheck chart last week and he remains at the top once again for a second consecutive week. The song also bumps up a slot on Billboard, making Bryan the king of both charts.
Bryan co-wrote the tune with his record producer Jeff Stevens and hit songwriter Shane McAnally while out on the road. 'Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye' became such a favorite of Bryan's that he included the song on his platinum-selling 'Tailgates and Tanlines' album. The song was released as the album's fourth single, following 'Country Girl (Shake It for Me)', 'I Don't Want This Night to End' and 'Drunk on You.'
Coming in behind Bryan on the charts are Jake Owen -- who holds down No. 2 on both Mediabase and Billboard with 'The One That Got Away' -- Miranda Lambert ('Fastest Girl in Town'), Florida Georgia Line ('Cruise') and Rascal Flatts ('Come Wake Me Up').
'Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye' is Bryan's fifth No. 1 and seventh straight Top 5 single. He's also on the charts with buddies Jason Aldean and Eric Church, singing 'The Only Way I Know' for Aldean's 'Night Train' album.
