Man Marrying His High School Gym Teacher, Who All His Friends Crushed On

Scott Davies always said he'd marry his high school P.E. teacher, even when he was a teen in school.

Now 33 years old, it's really happening for him.

The gym teacher is 41-year-old Helen Booth — she was Davis' P.E. teacher in 2009, when he was much younger, the New York Post reports.

He'd always had a crush on her, but so did his "mates" (they're in the United Kingdom).

Nothing was inappropriate — Booth had no idea about his school boy crush when she was his teacher, and a flame didn't ignite until they crossed paths years later, in 2022. They had not seen each other or spoken since he'd graduated.

Now a teacher himself, Davies and Booth started a romance, and last month, he popped the question.

"We are very happy together,” he says.

She agrees, adding: "I feel very lucky with what we have in our relationship — it’s very special and we make each other very happy."

The couple crossing paths again wasn't totally random — since Davies went on to become a teacher, he reached out to his former crush for some teaching advice, and that's when sparks flew.

Some of his buddies even still refer to her as "Ms. Booth." What's more, many of Booth's friends are also Davies' former teachers. Does he refer to them all as Ms. and Mr.? That part isn't clear.

Either way, this unlikely love story is sweet — never in a million years did Booth think she would marry one of her students, and Davies certainly never expected to lock down the hot P.E. teacher.
