Hear Michael Ray’s Slowed-Down Cover of Post Malone’s ‘Psycho’
Michael Ray shows off his rap game in a cover of Post Malone's No. 1 single "Psycho."
Ray recently visited Spotify Sessions to record the cover, and it finds him putting his own spin on the song with slowed down and sultry vocals. "I have so much respect for @postmalone & jumped at the chance to cover #psycho," the singer shares on Twitter:

Ray's rhythmic singing style is coupled with delicate pedal steel and percussion for a truly unique take on Post Malone's original.
"Psycho" isn't the only cover Ray has performed recently. The singer shared the stage with girlfriend Carly Pearce in Knoxville on Nov. 1, where the country lovebirds covered classic country love song "When You Say Nothing at All," a track Keith Whitley made famous in 1988.
The couple were on hand for the charity performance Concert for a Cause, organized by radio station WIVK in Knoxville. Pearce and Ray were both on the bill separately for the acoustic show, along with Uncle Kracker and hit songwriters Steve Bogard, Kyle Jacobs, Ben Glover and Rachel Thibodeau.
When he's not covering rappers or sharing the stage with his girlfriend, Ray is supporting his own music. His latest single, "One That Got Away," follows the successful "Get to You." Both songs are featured on his sophomore album Amos, released earlier this year.
