Miranda Lambert exploded onto the country music scene with her true breakout single 'Kerosene,' which gave the young hopeful her first Top 15 song in 2005. The accompanying video, directed by Trey Fanjoy, depicted a scorned Lambert as she ignited set her world in flames after catching her lover in the arms of another woman.

The music video reached the top spot of CMT's Top 20 Countdown the the week of March 2, 2006, which meant a first No. 1 video for the now Mrs. Shelton. The clip was also featured on CMT's 100 Greatest Videos, ranking at #78.

The song served as the title track to Lambert's 2004 platinum debut album, 'Kerosene.'
