Moonshine Bandits Enlist the Lacs for Smoking New Song, ‘Rebel Red Hot’ [Exclusive Premiere]
Moonshine Bandits are back with a new track titled "Rebel Red Hot," and they're joined by another country-rap favorite, the Lacs.
The track is an amalgam of heavy rock guitar riffing and hip-hop beats, alternating rapping and singing to describe a southern woman who has all of the men spellbound.
"She's the type of woman you gon' find at the races / Or at the Talladega Superspeedway / Check the faces of them good old boys, 'cause they done melted off (Rebel rebel red hot) / Not the kind of girl that you smoke in mirrors / She's the real deal, all the fake chicks fear her / She's a thoroughbred, she done won the Triple Crown / Take a triple shot from a bottle set it down," they sing.
"This song blew one of my speakers," Dusty "Big Tex" Dahlgren from Moonshine Bandits tells us. "It's an anthem for the ladies. Anytime we work with our brothers the Lacs, the song turns out great."
The upcoming video for the track promises to be something special.
"We are shooting a video for this, and the vid features the World Famous Cherry Bomb Fire Dancers," he adds. "I think this song is gonna be a fan favorite for sure."
"Rebel Red Hot" appears on Moonshine Bandits' upcoming album, Gold Rush, which is set for release on Oct. 5. The album also features appearances from Big Smo and Berner, and it's currently available for pre-order, including multiple special packages. Fans who pre-order will receive an instant download of "Two Bar Town." Moonshine Bandits premiered the video for that track with Taste of Country in August.
