The Lacs Hit the Road for ‘Back to Georgia’ Video [Exclusive Premiere]
The Lacs recently hit the highway to film the video for their new song, "Back to Georgia," and they're sharing it with Taste of Country readers before fans can see it anywhere else.
The country-rap duo are kicking off 2016 with the 30-date Out Here Tour, which runs through June 15 before wrapping up in Delaware. Hard Target are the opening act for most of the dates, which feature a rotating roster of the Lacs' Average Joes labelmates, including singer-songwriter Sarah Ross, Moonshine Bandits and Charlie Farley.
"Back to Georgia" features guest vocals from Craig Campbell, and the Lacs filmed the new video for the song — which appears on their most recent album, Outlaw in Me — on the road, enlisting their legions of devoted fans to take part. The clip highlights their love of life on the road, and always being able to come back to their homes and families in Georgia. The video is sure to help fans get in the mood for the Out Here Tour, and the duo are equally enthusiastic about being out in front of their crowds.
"We are very excited about this year's Out Here tour," Clay Sharpe says. "Not only do we get to hit the road and play for our fans, but we get to make some music with our friends, Moonshine Bandits, Sarah Ross, Charlie Farley and Hard Target. It's always a party when we get together."
