10 Albums We Can’t Wait for in 2016

There are ten country albums on the 2016 calendar and more than a dozen more planned, but not yet scheduled, plus those we just know are going to drop. Like Miranda Lambert — she has to release an album filled with emotional love and heartbreak songs this year, right?

We took the confirmed albums, the planned albums and rumored albums and created a list of 10 we can't wait for in 2016. Lambert obviously makes our list, battling for the No. 1 spot with three other country superstars and an all-time legend. Newcomers like Frankie Ballard and Granger Smith also make our 10 Albums We Can't Wait for in 2016 list.

Thomas Rhett topped our list in 2015, and that turned out to be a wait that was well worth it. He's not on this year's list (we don't expect the follow-up to Tangled Up until at least 2017). but Georgia boys like Sam Hunt and traditional country singers like Joe Nichols are.
