New Songs on the Radio — April 2019
The 2019 ACM Awards delivered plenty of new songs for the radio. The early April showcase featured performances from Blake Shelton, Little Big Town and more that you will surely be hearing much more of very soon.
Little Big Town's "The Daughters" might be the performance that most left fans talking earlier this month, but it remains to be seen if that will translate to radio success. Lanco is another country music act that introduced a new song at the ACMs, having just shipped it for radio airplay days earlier.
For a few others, it remains to be seen. Chris Stapleton was vague about if "A Simple Song" was going to be a single, and Keith Urban indicated "Burden" would not be, but a few programmers don't seem to care. Is "Southbound" going to be Carrie Underwood's next radio song, or was it just a way to promote her album and tour? What about Jason Aldean's collaboration with Florida Georgia Line?
If these songs are announced soon we'll add each to this list of new songs on the radio for April 2019. If not, they'll wait until next month.
