Riley Green is having quite the year. He’s been nominated for four awards at the 61st ACM Awards on May 17, but according to the “Worst Way” singer, one of those means more to him than the others.

Which ACM Award Nomination Is Most Meaningful to Riley Green?

I spoke with Green on Taste of Country Nights and asked him that exact question. He quickly responded:

“That’s probably the most meaningful nomination to me — songwriter — just because I’ve always considered myself a songwriter first. So I’m excited about that.”

Green writes the majority of the songs he records, so when you look at his catalog, he has quite an impressive number of songwriting credits under his belt.
