Superstar vet Carrie Underwood and breakout maverick Sam Hunt are gearing up for an epic performance at the upcoming Grammy Awards on Feb. 15, and it looks like they’re having a great time getting ready. Both Underwood and Hunt posted photos of the pair rehearsing with concentration, with Hunt mentioning his excitement to be performing with the “Smoke Break” singer.

"Excited to be playing with Carrie Underwood on the Grammys this Monday," he writes.

Both artists are nominated for awards during Monday's big event. Underwood is up for Best Country Solo Performance for her tune “Little Toy Guns,” and Hunt is up for Best Country Album for Montevallo, as well as the all-genre category Best New Artist.

No word yet on what the pair will be performing, but with the combination of these two supremely talented artists, it’s sure to be a great show. Signs point to some inclusion of Underwood’s most recent single “Heartbeat,” though, as Hunt provided background vocals for the track on the Storyteller album. This will be Hunt’s first Grammys performance, but Underwood has been on the stage several times, most recently in 2013.

Hunt is reportedly working on his sophomore album, but in the meantime he co-headlined the Super Bowl Tailgate party with Seal and is climbing the charts with his most recent single, “Breakup in a Small Town."

Underwood is currently on her Storyteller Tour, which kicked off in late January and has already been filled with memorable moments, including covers of Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” and “Fishin’ in the Dark,” which also featured tourmates Easton Corbin and the Swon Brothers. Her international tour runs through May.
