Tanya Tucker has big plans to celebrate the release of her new album, While I'm Livin'. The country star has booked three album release shows in honor of the project, her first to feature all-new material in 17 years.

Tucker's album release shows begin on Aug. 22 in Nashville; that night, she'll play the city's Exit/In, before releasing her new album the following day (Friday, Aug. 23). She'll then head to New York City's Bowery Ballroom for a Sept. 17 show, and hit the West Coast on Oct. 16 for a show at LA's Troubadour.

Tickets for all three of Tucker's album release shows will go on sale on Friday (July 12) at 10AM local time. VIP packages will be available in addition to standard tickets.

Tucker's While I'm Livin' was produced by Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings, and largely written by Carlie and her frequent collaborators, Phil and Tim Hanseroth. Carlile describes the project as "a musical biography of sorts, about Tanya’s real life and the places she’s seen."

Tucker is best known for her debut single, "Delta Dawn," which became a hit in the early 1970s, when she was just 13 years old. Throughout her career, she's earned 23 Top 40 albums and 56 Top 40 singles, including 10 No. 1 songs. In 2020, she'll add a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to her list of career achievements, which already includes two CMA Awards, two ACM Awards and 10 Grammy Awards nominations.
