Ever since word of a collaboration between Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber made headlines, fans of the two megastars have been anxiously waiting to catch a first listen of what it sounds like when two young icons team up. Unfortunately, the wait will be a bit longer, as the 'Boyfriend' star didn't include the mashup on his latest album, 'Believe.'

According to Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, putting the Bieber-Swift song the new record just "didn't make sense."

"It didn't go on 'Believe' because there's another record they want to work on. So, it just didn't make sense at this time, and the song they did just didn't make sense on this album," Braun told MTV News.

Thankfully, just because the Swift-touched song isn't on Bieber's latest album doesn't mean that it won't see the light of day. With the country star's powerhouse vocals and unmatched songwriting skills -- blended with the teen pop heartthrob's high falsetto -- it's bound to be radio gold.

Swift wasn't the only star scorned on Bieber's new album. The teenage pop star also did a duet with Kanye West, and it didn't make the cut either. Somehow, we imagine Swift isn't too bummed that her song isn't sitting next to a track by the notoriously interrupting rapper.
