The Voice's Season 17 contestants will get some advice from megastar Taylor Swift. The country-turned-pop artist will join the TV singing competition's cast as a "mega mentor."

Swift's role will involve mentoring the artists on all four The Voice teams as they prepare for the Knockout Rounds, which pits a contestant against another competitor on their coach's team to stay on the show. In addition to Swift, the competing artists will receive advice from their coach and the team's advisor.

Swift has appeared twice on The Voice previously. She served as Season 7's mega mentor, and also performed during the show's Season 16 finale, earlier in 2019.

Swift released her seventh album, Lover, on Aug. 23. Already, the project is the best-selling record of 2019, in any genre.

In addition to Swift, The Voice Season 17 contestants will be advised by Darius Rucker, among others, who will serve as Blake Shelton's team advisor. The other coaches for the season are John Legend, Kelly Clarkson and Gwen Stefani.

The new season of The Voice will premiere on Sept. 23.
