Thomas Rhett Books First European Headlining Tour
After his successful first-ever European performance at the recent C2C Festival, it’s clear that country fans across the pond are loving Thomas Rhett. Now they can catch him on his first headlining tour in Europe starting this fall.
Rhett just announced nine dates across Europe in November 2016, including stops in Dublin, London, Glasgow and Amsterdam. The singer says he’s excited to keep connecting with fans over the pond after experiencing their energy for the first time at C2C.
"I’ve had a lot of artist buddies play Europe and come back talking about how great the crowds are,” he says in a release. “After getting my first taste this week, I definitely get what they’re saying now. I’m pumped we’re going to have a chance to come back this fall. Hopefully we’ll get to see a few familiar faces from this weekend and meet some new fans too."
Tickets for Thomas Rhett's European tour begin to go on sale on Wednesday, March 16.
The C2C festival took place March 11-13 and featured a host of country’s biggest stars rotating through a three-day festival across London, Dublin and Glasgow. Rhett shared the bill on his night with Miranda Lambert and Dwight Yoakam, kicking off with the March 11 show in London. The festival also included Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town, Sam Hunt, Eric Church and Kacey Musgraves.
Rhett is also performing on Jason Aldean’s We Were Here Tour with A Thousand Horses, which just rocked Atlantic City Feb. 27 and continues through May 6. He's slated to join up with pop star Nick Jonas for a unique episode of CMT Crossroads this summer.
