Thompson Square just wrapped their latest trek with country superstar Jason Aldean. The husband and wife duo hit the road with Aldean, along with Chris Young, on the singer's My Kinda Party Tour that hit many high-profile stages throughout the summer months.

While Keifer and Shawna Thompson have known Aldean and his band (who are also the magical minds behind New Voice Entertainment -- the production team behind the hot duo), they still continue to learn more about the man away from the spotlight every time they see each other.

"I think it's interesting that Jason is a lot more shy than I thought he was," Keifer Thompson reveals to Taste of Country. "Onstage he's a wild man. He's a little bit shy [offstage]. It was kind of interesting to see a guy of that caliber, and it was kind of cool to see that. But when he gets out onstage, it's a whole different game. His crowds are amazing, and I tell you what ... he's got one of the best bands in the business. They're our producers. We've worked together in the studio and stuff. It was just so much fun to be out on the road with those guys. Chris Young was great, too. He's a really great guy. It was just kind of like being out there with your buddies. It was a really easy thing to do."

Thompson Square will now enjoy a few weeks of doing their own dates around the holidays before hitting the road in full swing once again on Lady Antebellum's Own the Night Tour. The trek, which also features Darius Rucker, will launch on Jan. 27 in Tulsa, Okla. Click here for a complete list of dates where you can catch Thompson Square on the road.
