Tim McGraw, Faith Hill Announce Soul2Soul Tour Opening Acts
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill turned to social media to make a big announcement about their upcoming tour on Tuesday afternoon (Jan. 31), revealing a number of acts who will open for them on the massive 2017 Soul2Soul World Tour.
The couple made the announcement via Facebook Live. Brothers Osborne, Jon Pardi, Chris Lane, Charlie Worsham, Maggie Rose, Eric Paslay, Cam, Brandy Clark, Chris Janson and more will open for the superstar couple on various dates, along with young artists like Seth Ennis, Midland, Caitlyn Smith, High Valley, Brent Cobb and Steve Moakler. Singer-songwriters Lori McKenna and Natalie Hemby will also support the tour on select dates, among others.
The couple also told fans they would be looking at adding dates in Europe, Australia and other parts of the world before the tour is over.
The superstar pair first revealed their tour plans in October of 2016 during a show at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
“We are going back on the road, on tour! We are going to go from side to side, south to north, all the way around the globe!” Hill told the crowd.
“We’ve been looking forward to this for a long, long time,” McGraw added, joking, “We got all y’all together just to tell y’all that, now we’re going home.”
The road trek is the couple's third together, and Hill's first tour in a decade. The 65-city 2017 Soul2Soul World Tour starts April 7, 2017 in New Orleans and wraps in October 2017 in New York City.
