New music from Tim McGraw and Faith Hill is featured in the first trailer for the upcoming motion picture, The Shack, which was released on Thursday (Dec. 1). The superstar duo co-wrote and sing a duet, “Keep Your Eyes on Me," for the film that is based on the New York Times Bestseller by William P. Young.

The emotional story follows the journey of Mack Phillips, portrayed by Sam Worthington, who goes on a spiritual journey after the tragic loss of his young daughter. A puzzling letter in the mail sends him to a remote location in the Oregon wilderness, where he begins to work through the tragedy with the help of a group of strangers. McGraw makes a brief appearance in the trailer as a character named Willie, advising Worthington's character not to follow the letter's instructions as McGraw and Hills' duet plays in the background at the end of the trailer. Octavia Spencer, who won an Academy Award for her role in The Help, also stars in the film.

While McGraw is best known for his music career, he's also made a splash on the big screen in several films, including The Blind Side, which was produced by the same Oscar-winning producer as The Shack.

McGraw and Hill will hit the road in 2017 on their Soul2Soul World Tour, with multiple new dates added due to popular demand. The tour takes them across the U.S., kicking off in April in New Orleans with a jam-packed schedule that continues almost non-stop through October.

The Shack will premiere in March 2017.
