Trisha Yearwood to Host 2019 ‘CMA Country Christmas’
Trisha Yearwood is set to host the 2019 CMA Country Christmas special on ABC, bringing a new slant to the long-running Christmas tradition in its tenth year.
Yearwood is also set to perform on the 2019 CMA Country Christmas, joined by a roster of top talent from across country and other genres that includes Kristin Chenoweth, for King & Country, Chris Janson, Tori Kelly, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Runaway June, CeCe Winans, Brett Young and Chris Young. A press release promises a "night filled with Christmas classics and festive one-of-a-kind collaborations."
Reba McEntire hosted the CMA Country Christmas program in 2017 and 2018, taking over from Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles, who helmed the show for the first seven years it aired. Yearwood is looking forward to her turn in the Yuletide spotlight.
Trisha, Garth, Luke + More Will Warm Your Heart:
“Music, memories and enjoying the season with loved ones are what make Christmastime so special,” she says. “Hosting CMA Country Christmas is an opportunity to share joy and celebrate the holidays with friends and family everywhere.”
