Tyler Farr is going to headline a mini-tour early in 2015. The ‘A Guy Walks Into a Bar’ singer will take the stage for two ACM Lifting Lives shows in January, with a portion of ticket sales going to the ACM Lifting Lives charity.

On Jan. 9 Farr will play Joe’s Bar in Chicago. One day later he’ll play the Rave in Milwaukee, Wisc. Tickets for both go on sale Friday (Oct. 31) morning. ACM Lifting Lives is the charitable arm of the Academy of Country Music. The program develops and funds music-related therapy and education programs as well as providing help to those facing unexpected hardships.

The club shows began last fall. All money raised from these shows will go to organizations that work to improve lives through music.

Farr is prepping his second studio album, featuring the current Top 40 hit ‘A Guy Walks Into a Bar.’ His other hits include the Top 5 singles ‘Redneck Crazy’ and ‘Whiskey in My Water.’

More shows are expected to be announced for winter and spring 2015 in the coming weeks and months. The 2015 ACM Awards are on April 19 in Texas.
