The Zac Brown Band’s Southern Ground Music & Food Festival will include over a dozen country, alt-country and rock bands in 2016. Thomas Rhett and the Tedeschi Trucks Band will headline the two-day, April festival in South Carolina. Hunter Hayes, Kacey Musgraves and Old Dominion are just a few of the other country stars who’ll appear.

Cam, a Thousand Horses, Drake White and solo performances from several ZBB members will also make up the Southern Ground Fest bill. Once again it’s in Charleston, S.C. Next year’s festival will take place April 16-17. Tickets go on sale for the general public Dec. 18.

Other artists on the eclectic bill include Michael Franti & Spearhead, Sam Bush, Bruce Hornsby and the Noise Makers and Muddy Magnolia. Surprise guests are the norm for this spring party. The Zac Brown Band close each night with “super sets” that feature well-known artists that are and aren’t on the bill. The band has a growing list of famous friends — Sara Bareilles, Chris Cornell, Rich Robinson of the Black Crowes, bluesman Keb’ Mo’ and Amos Lee are a few artists with credits on the band’s most recent Jekyll + Hyde album.

Next June the Zac Brown Band will headline one of four nights at Country Jam in Grand Junction, Colo. Find a complete list of all country music festivals scheduled for next summer at the Taste of Country Festival page.
