‘1000-Lb. Sisters’ Tammy Slaton Shows Off Shocking 500-Pound Weight Loss
Whether you're a fan of the popular TV show 1000-Lb. Sisters or not, hearing that someone has lost a quarter of ton of extra weight that they have been carrying around is for sure shocking.
1000-Lb Sisters Tammy Slaton Shows Off Incredible Weight Loss
1000-Lb. Sisters has been on-air for over four years now, and people have become enamored by the ladies and their weight loss journey. Tammy Slaton and her sister, Amy, star in the TLC series.
Back in 2022, Tammy had weight loss surgery and has continued to document her progress and dedication to losing weight on TV and social media.
Breaking the fourth wall here: As someone who has lost 275 pounds and kept it off for over 10 years, you don't truly realize how tired and unhappy you were with the weight until it's gone.
That seems to be the same for Slaton. She said in a video, "I personally have seen a lot of growth within myself and how I treat people and my family. And just my attitude and how happier I seem. I smile a lot more."
Slaton has even stayed the course after tragedy. Slaton lost her husband, Caleb, in 2023. Sometimes traumatic life experiences can throw off a weight loss, but Slaton stayed on track.
Now, Slaton is out here riding rides at Disney World, and doing things that she was never able to do before her dramatic transformation.
"I value life now, where before I hated it," she said. "I hated everything about life."
