The 2016 Taste of Country Music Festival drew an astonishing 53,000 fans to Hunter Mountain in upstate New York over the weekend, setting a new attendance record for the festival's fourth year.

The three-day country music and camping festival kicked off Friday (June 10) at one of the most beautiful natural venues in the country, and over the course of the next three days fans got to take in sets from headliners Kid Rock, Kenny Chesney and Jake Owen, as well as a daily lineup that included Gary Allan, Big & Rich, Frankie Ballard, Eric Paslay, Old Dominion, Neal McCoy, the Swon Brothers, the Cadillac Three, Jana Kramer, Chris Janson and more.

There were plenty of standout moments for fans to remember, including Neal McCoy's heavy metal rendition of Sam Hunt's "House Party," Eric Paslay trying out the skyride before his fun set, Big & Rich's salute to the military and Kenny Chesney telling fans that he'd woken up to a text from Kid Rock telling him just how crazy the ToC Fest had gotten the night before.

There was also plenty to eat and drink, lots of hot country boys and girls and even a carnival with prizes at this year's festival, which drew country fans from all over the country. On Saturday night (June 11), Jason Aldean was announced live onstage as one of the headliners for 2017's ToC Fest, with tickets already on sale.

“The Taste of Country Music Festival has grown every year, and this year we’ve set an attendance record with 53,000 guests. We continue to be grateful for the support we’ve gotten from the fans of our festival, as well as the artist community that continues to contribute to the growth of the event," says Dhruv Prasad, one of the festival’s organizers.

“Thanks again to our hosts at Hunter Mountain, all of our great staff, our sponsors, the State of New York, and the folks in Greene County for welcoming us again. We’re proud of the fact that our events generate nearly 15 million dollars of annual economic impact to the local area and community. We are already looking forward to producing another great experience in 2017, and are very excited to bring Jason Aldean to the Mountain!”
