Country Stars’ Best Reactions to the 2017 ACM Awards Nominations

Soon after the 2017 ACM Awards nominations were announced on Thursday morning (Feb. 16), some of the biggest stars in country music turned to social media to share their reactions to their own nominations.

Maren Morris is one of the most-nominated artists in 2017 with six total nods, which she called “so humbling," especially coming right after winning Best Country Solo Performance at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 6.

Lauren Alaina was so thrilled to be nominated for Best New Female Vocalist that she was in tears in the airport as she thanked her fans. New Artist nominees Maddie & Tae, Chris Janson, Dan + Shay and Jon Pardi were among the others who turned to Twitter to share their thanks. The 2017 ACM Awards are set to take place in Las Vegas on April 2, and air live on CBS beginning at 8PM ET. Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley are returning to co-host the broadcast, which will take place at T-Mobile Arena for the first time in ACM Awards history in 2017.
