2017 People’s Choice Awards Nominees Announced
The 2017 People's Choice Awards nominees have been announced, comprising the hottest music, television shows, movies and more across a wide spectrum of the entertainment world, including country music.
Blake Shelton parlayed his multi-media celebrity into four nominations, three of which are in non-country categories. In addition to facing off against Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt and Tim McGraw for Favorite Male Country Artist, he'll compete against Drake, Justin Timberlake, Shawn Mendes and the Weeknd in the all-genre Favorite Male Artist category.
In addition, Shelton’s newest album, If I’m Honest, is nominated in the category of Favorite Album against Rihanna‘s Anti, Ariana Grande‘s Dangerous Woman, Beyonce's Lemonade and Drake’s Views. The Voice is also nominated for a 2017 People’s Choice Award for Favorite Competition TV show.
Voting is now open at the People's Choice Awards official website. The 2017 People’s Choice Awards are set to air on Jan. 18 on CBS at 9PM ET.
