Look Back at 26 Photos of the Legendary Alan Jackson When He Was Young
Alan Jackson is one of country music's most beloved — and most decorated — stars.
In addition to 30-plus No. 1 singles, he's won countless ACMs and CMAs, and even a couple of Grammy Awards. Those Grammys stemmed from arguably the most meaningful song of his career, "Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)."
In 2021, Jackson revealed to fans that he has Charcot–Marie–Tooth disorder that has been affecting him for years. "And it's getting more and more obvious. And I know I'm stumbling around on stage," he said at the time, "And now I'm having a little trouble balancing, even in front of the microphone, and so I just feel very uncomfortable."
In 2024 and 2025, Jackson is said to be doing his final live shows, with tour dates scheduled through May 2025 as part of the Last Call: One More for the Road Tour.
