Banned Country Songs – Rascal Flatts, ‘I Melt’
'I Melt' was banned from GAC-TV because of a brief -- as in quicker than a flap of a mosquito's wing -- scene that shows Rascal Flatts' Joe Don Rooney naked. It's a backside peak at the famous musician (seen at the 3:40 mark), but that was enough to make the sensual video the first that showed nudity. "If there's a family, a mother and a couple of young kids, sitting around watching a video and out comes some nudity, I just don't feel that's appropriate," GAC president Jeff Wayne said. CMT embraced the clip and aired it despite complaints from viewers.
