Blake Shelton Gives Thanks, Love for Album of the Year at 2013 American Country Awards
Although Blake Shelton is busy working in Los Angeles, he took a minute via satellite to give lots of thanks and love for the 2013 ACAs he received -- including Album of the Year.
Cowboy Troy and Big Smo added some hip-hop to the ACAs when they presented Shelton with his award via video. Shelton had some stiff competition in the category -- he was up against Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Tim McGraw and the Band Perry.
The hip-hoppers announced the big award by saying congrats to their "Warner kinfolk." Shelton appeared on a big screen to thank his fans for this award and a few (okay, a lot) more. He also won GAC Music Video of the Year, Music Video by a Male Artist and Single by a Male Artist.
"Thank y'all so much. I am beyond honored and blessed," the singer said. He made sure to give lots of thanks to his fans for their votes, saying they're the reason he has a job and they're also what make his job exciting.
"I love y'all so much ... I love y'all," he added before saying goodbye.
