Blake Shelton’s Sweet ‘I’ll Name the Dogs’ Video Features Gwen Stefani’s Kids
Blake Shelton has marriage on his mind in his charming "I'll Name the Dogs" video.
The country star and coach on The Voice is seeing life and love through rose-colored glasses in the new clip, which dropped Friday morning (Sept. 8). "I'll Name the Dogs" finds him waxing rhapsodic about getting married, setting into domestic bliss and having kids, a lyric that no doubt will have fans speculating that he's set to marry longtime love Gwen Stefani.
“You find the spot and I’ll find the money / You be the pretty and I’ll be the funny / You plant the flowers, I’ll plant the kisses / Baby let’s get right down to business / I’ll hang the pictures, you hang the stars / You pick the paint, I’ll pick a guitar / Sing you a song out there with the crickets and the frogs / You name the babies and I’ll name the dogs,” he sings in the chorus of “I’ll Name the Dogs.”

The fact that Stefani’s two oldest children, Kingston and Zuma, appear briefly in the "I'll Name the Dogs" video (around the one-minute mark) only makes it more obvious that's exactly what Shelton wants fans to think.
Shelton plays a wedding singer in the new video for "I'll Name the Dogs," performing the charming, uptempo feel-good song while a wedding party prepares for the big event. The video upends viewers' expectations at the end with a sweet twist in which the couple who are getting married turn out to be quite different from who you think it's going to be.
"I'll Name the Dogs" is the first single we've heard from Shelton's forthcoming next album, the follow-up to If I'm Honest. The details for that project have not yet been revealed.
