Watch Brad Paisley Join Hank Williams, Jr. Onstage for Surprise Performance
Brad Paisley fans got a fun surprise at a concert in Ohio on Thursday night (July 5). The singer joined Hank Williams, Jr., live onstage for a collaboration on their duet, "I'm Gonna Get Drunk and Play Hank Williams."
Paisley's current tour schedule brought him to Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, on Thursday, and Williams was also on the bill. In a video Paisley posted to social media, Williams introduces him as "my real friend" as he brings Paisley out to join him, adding lead and harmony vocals and accompanying Williams' band on acoustic guitar as they perform seated on two stools like they're playing an informal jam.
Paisley first joined his friend on "I'm Gonna Get Drunk and Play Hank Williams" when it appeared on Williams' Old School, New Rules album in 2012. They later performed the song on the 2012 CMT Music Awards, and Paisley welcomed Williams to the stage at the end of his set during the 2012 CMA Music Festival.

The two stars are longtime friends, and Williams previously helped Paisley and CMA Awards co-host Carrie Underwood create one of the most memorable moments in the history of the awards when he joined them onstage as they spoofed the now-legendary Fox & Friends interview in which he compared then-President Obama to Hitler.
Paisley's schedule finds him sharing the bill with Williams once again on Saturday night (July 7) at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisc.
