Brett Young and Charles Kelley put an acoustic spin on their songwriting collaboration, "Here Tonight," also making it a duet.

Released on Friday (May 10), the video is part of a new video series called "Acoustic Sessions" that features Young performing reimagined renditions of cuts off his 2018 album Ticket to L.A.

He called on Kelley to join him for a mystical take on the track they co-wrote, giving viewers an intimate look into the studio. Singing with just an acoustic guitar and soft piano accompanying them, Young takes on the first verse before Kelley jumps in on the chorus, providing gentle harmonies as they sing: "We can just stay here in this minute / Lose all track of time / Let the world spin on without us for a while / 'Cause I want to get wrapped up in your love / So baby, let's just stay here tonight."

The Lady Antebellum star sings the second verse solo, his soft, yet smoky vocals adding another dynamic to the song.

"Here Tonight" was composed by the two hitmakers, along with Justin Ebach and Ben Caver, while Young was out on the road with Lady A as an opening act on their 2017 You Look Good Tour. It was released as the first single off Young's sophomore project and became his fifth-consecutive No. 1 hit.

"Charles is a great writer. Charles does it all really well. He definitely fell more into the melody when we were writing with these specific writers, and his melodies are so cool," Young shared with Taste of Country in a 2017 interview.

Young wrapped up an opening stint on Kelsea Ballerini's Miss Me More Tour on May 11. He's set to perform at 2019 Taste of Country Music Festival, taking place June 7-9 at Hunter Mountain in New York.
