Brooks & Dunn, Luke Combs Tear Up 2019 ACM Awards With ‘Brand New Man’
Brooks & Dunn and Luke Combs took the 2019 ACM Awards back to the '90s with a rendition of the iconic duo's hit song "Brand New Man."
Nostalgia was in effect as the audience cam panned to everyone from Thomas Rhett to actress Nicole Kidman rocking along to uptempo country classic. Combs looked and sounded really comfortable as a third member of Brooks & Dunn, while Kix Brooks added his usual stage flair and Dunn, his golden voice. Combs motored around the stage with a red Solo cup the entire performance, appearing to have the time of his life.
The two acts also re-recorded the track for Brooks & Dunn's just-released Reboot album.

The title track of Brooks & Dunn's 1991 debut album, "Brand New Man" was written by Kix Brooks, Ronnie Dunn and Don Cook. The song was their debut single and hit No. 1, starting off a lengthy career that led the pair to induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame this year.
The 12-track Reboot, which dropped Friday (April 5), features Kacey Musgraves, Jon Pardi, Kane Brown, Combs, Cody Johnson, Thomas Rhett, Brett Young, Luke Combs, Lanco, Ashley McBryde, Midland and Brothers Osborne collaborating with the duo on their classic hits. Fans attending the 2019 Taste of Country Music Festival in June will get to hear plenty of those well-known songs when the duo take the stage at the three-day country music festival in New York State.
