Carrie Underwood’s ‘Cry Pretty’ at 2018 CMA Fest Might Be Fans’ First Glimpse at Pregnancy?
Carrie Underwood gave fans the exciting news Wednesday (Aug. 8) that she and husband Mike Fisher are expecting their second child.
Given this explosive announcement, fans who tuned into that evening's broadcast of CMA Fest, the Music Event of Summer, which aired on ABC and showcased a variety of standout performances from June's annual four-day CMA Festival in Nashville, likely looked upon Underwood's pre-taped performance with a discerning eye.
Since Underwood took the stage for the fest in early June, those who are checking dates and thinking things over rationally (many women wait a standard three months before announcing they are expecting) would come to the conclusion that the superstar was likely pregnant at the time she performed for the crowds at the festival.

The telecast reveals nothing, of course, as Underwood would be too early along in the pregnancy to show any signs. However, it is admittedly fun to watch Underwood's blazing performance of "Cry Pretty" in a body-hugging green dress, knowing that she just probably has a secret she's hiding as she plays to the crowd!
Underwood is no stranger to working hard while pregnant. After announcing in September 2014 that she was expecting son Isaiah, she went right into business as usual, appearing on red carpets that fall and winter as her schedule dictated. The 2014 CMA Awards, CMA Country Christmas special and American Country Countdown Awards all featured Underwood strutting her stuff before year's end.
The 2018 CMA Festival was held in Nashville from June 7 through June 10. The event has been held annually for more than four decades, showcasing live music from both A-list and emerging country talent over the years for fans to enjoy and discover.
