Carrie Underwood’s Songwriters Listen to ‘Storyteller’ for the First Time [Watch]

Carrie Underwood's much-anticipated fifth studio album Storyteller won't be released until next Friday (Oct. 23), but the songwriters who penned the tracks got an early listen.

In a video posted to Underwood's Facebook page, it is revealed that the songwriters featured on her album were invited to listen to the final recordings of Storyteller for the first time. They didn't know they were being filmed as they sat in a room and put headphones on to listen to their songs being sung by Underwood. There were tears, some singing along, plenty of selfies and high-fives and a special surprise visit from the star herself.

"Check out of some of the songwriters who contributed to #Storyteller listening to the songs they wrote for the 1st time!" Underwood writes, urging fans to: "Help me thank them for the beautiful stories in the comments below. Can’t wait to see your reaction on 10/23/15!"

Storyteller was produced by Jay Joyce, Mark Bright and Zach Crowell with six of its 13 songs co-written by Underwood. Complete track listing below.
