Popularized by the Beastie Boys, Billy Ray Cyrus, Motley Crue, and others, the mullet grew to its peak popularity in the '80s because it was essentially two styles at once: business in the front, party in the back. And country stars like to party, so it makes sense that some of the genre's biggest stars sported mullets back in the day.

There's lots of men to make the list of famous mullets of country music, but one woman slipped through: Dolly Parton. You have to admit, her flamboyant hair style resembles a mullet more than anything. Other country stars to wear a mullet -- and wear it with pride -- were Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, Vince Gill, Joe Diffie, Blake Shelton and several others. Who's your favorite mullet?
